Most people who go for tests, find out it’s not cancer. Finding out sooner is always better.
Many of our GPs are using the ‘C the Signs’ digital tool to identify patients at risk of cancer as early as possible. Early diagnosis means an increased range of treatment options, improved long-term survival and better quality of life.
If you are referred to hospital, it will be classed as an ‘urgent referral’. This may sound frightening, but it’s because of the benefits of getting an early diagnosis.
