About Barnsley Healthcare Federation
Launched in 2015, we are an NHS Provider and not-for-profit, community interest company working to improve healthcare in Barnsley.
Who Are We?
We manage the Barnsley Primary Care Network (PCN), which is made up of 32 GP practices, and run the iHEART Barnsley out of hours GP service. We also deliver a number of community healthcare services, such as health and wellbeing coaching, social prescribing and first contact physiotherapy, and directly manage BHF GP practices.
Our aim is to provide the best care to patients, represent the interests of our GPs and work with partners across the borough and nationally to help address some of the challenges facing the NHS today. We are proud of our dedicated team who deliver healthcare directly to patients or are working hard in the background to keep our essential services running smoothly.
