BHF wins Healthcare Services of the Year award at Yorkshire Prestige 2022

Last week, BHF's Chief Operating Officer, James Barker, and Primary Care Network Manager, Janie Wike, attended the 2021/2022 Yorkshire Prestige awards ceremony to collect the winning Healthcare Servicse of the Year trophy.

Following some one of the most demanding years on record for the NHS, the Yorkshire Prestige annual awards 2021/22 aimed to shine a light on the outstanding efforts and achievements of healthcare service teams across Yorkshire.

The judging panel based their decisions on criteria including service excellence, quality of the service provided and the development of innovative practices as well as organisational values and ethics. Winners were selected according to how they could demonstrate their strengths in these areas.

Commenting on BHF's win, James Barker said:

'We are absolutely delighted to have won this very prestigious accolade for the second year running.

We are very grateful to be recognised - and it's a very nice way of acknowledging the efforts our extremely hardworking teams who give their all, all of the time.

Winning this award not only demonstrates our commitment to staying totally focused on our patients and improving their treatment experience and outcomes - but, most importantly, provides a well-deserved thanks to all our frontline NHS staff.
